About Ben Harrison

I have worked for over twenty years as a teacher to foster and develop the pastoral welfare and academic excellence of students. With 12 years of leadership experience as a Carey Baptist Grammar Head of House in the Middle School, I bring a high calibre of communication, leadership and expertise. Committed to the development of students, I lead exceptional-quality standards through all aspects of programs in the classroom. I have a proven track record in developing student and sporting leadership teams and implementing pastoral and academic curriculum. I bring an infectious passion for teaching and my undeniable strength is my relationships with students, parents and staff. My teaching and leadership experience are complemented by my excellent communication, natural interpersonal skills and initiative to create programs that broaden the curriculum and students’ knowledge. With a genuine passion for leading, teaching and the game of AFLW, I excel at developing students to be their best. My AFLW coaching experience has further strengthened my classroom and student management.
