About Ben Hooper

I'm a natural storyteller who builds at the intersection of soccer and culture — connecting people, products, and experiences that move the game forward in creative and meaningful ways. Currently, I’m focused on relaunching and scaling Bumpy Pitch, a soccer-inspired lifestyle brand rooted in storytelling, product, and community. We’re building a brand that reflects the culture of the game — both on and off the pitch — with collections, content, and collaborations that speak to soccer’s global reach and creative energy. In the past, I co-founded and sold both FootyCon (the first consumer-facing soccer and culture festival in the U.S.) and The Association (a creative soccer league that brought together players and brands from fashion, music, and tech). I also previously served as Editorial Director at Kicks To The Pitch, an outlet dedicated to the space where soccer meets lifestyle. Through the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands like Nike, adidas, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, EA Sports, and professional clubs including AFC Bournemouth and several MLS teams, contributing across creative direction, storytelling, product design, and brand strategy. Before launching my own ventures, I spent time in the music industry working with high-profile artists — and earlier in life, I enjoyed a brief professional soccer career in Europe.
