I am a very enthusiastic individual with 8 years experience working at Marubeni Komatsu UK main depot and Komatsu Australia- Kalgoorlie, I have gained my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plant maintenance through the MKL apprenticeship scheme as well as in company Komatsu training, I now occupy the the role of shift fitter for KCGM Super Pit out of kalgoorlie Western Australia where apart of a crew we maintain and repair a fleet of production shovels I am able to assist my co-workers where needed whilst carrying out my own overhaul, diagnostic, repair and service workload. I utilise my experience within the industry carrying out all aspects of the jobs while working closely with my leading hands and supervisors, ordering parts and passing on the information and diagnosis I have found about the failure of the machine.I feel the time I have spent at Komatsu through out my apprenticeship and qualified fitter has given me a vast knowledge of Komatsu machinery from mini diggers to to production shovels along with other aspects of mechanics and engineering. I carry great pride in the work I carry out in the workshop and field whether that is apart of a team or individually Working. Working under pressure and meeting deadlines are something I thrive upon I always aim to conduct myself professionally and efficiently while maintaining an approachable, positive attitude.
