About Ben Kobs

I want to open up my own Internet Café & E-Sport Centre with the end goal of it becoming a hub for gaming activity - video and tabletop alike. I've been an avid gamer since I could pick up a controller. I grew up on PlayStation (original Crash Bandicoot and Spyro trilogies were my childhood) and have since remained a PlayStation kid whilst also moving into the PC demographic. I prefer RPG's (Skyrim in particular) and RTS (I consider Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance the best one) as well as getting my fix for tabletop gaming via Dungeons & Dragons. I keep up to date on what's happening in the gaming industry and gaming culture; I think games have the potential to effect change and foster comraderie and friendships. I'm often left dismayed and disappointed in the way it's portrayed in the mainstream media and as such I'm always one of the first to jump to games' defence whenever it's used as a scapegoat in stories on violent behaviour.
