About Ben Koch

For more than eight years, I’ve been shaping the future of 3D technology across various industries with EXCIT3D GmbH. My mission is to develop and implement innovative Augmented and Virtual Reality solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible and deliver measurable value to our clients. As COO & CTO, I coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. My strengths lie in strategic planning, project management, and bridging the gap between software development, 3D modeling, and 3D printing. Collaborating with leading partners and clients has allowed us to create cutting-edge applications. From medical visualizations to virtual exhibitions that demonstrate the real-world impact of immersive technologies. Alongside my role at EXCIT3D and Venturox Immobilien GmbH, I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Virtual Worlds at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Chair of Business Administration, especially Business Application Systems, supervised by Prof. Dr. Stefan Smolnik, exploring how immersive environments shape digital transformation.
