About Ben Lemon

Founder of Lone Peak Precision and PowTech Manufacturing in Bozeman, Montana. As an entrepreneur and business owner, I have a passion for innovation and have successfully launched and commercialized various products. While a Mechanical Engineering Technologies (MET) undergraduate at Montana State University and intern with Vision Aerial, in 2021 I started PowTech with the goal of simplifying snowmobile accessories for backcountry ski touring. In 2022 I sold PowTech and used the proceeds to start Lone Peak Precision. Having experienced first hand some of the challenges companies face with developing prototypes and then scaling into manufacturing production, I felt there must be a better way, leveraging my experience and education, and using tools like AI, automation, and robotics. We are applying these today at Lone Peak Precision today to help companies innovate and scale faster. As a process-oriented professional with a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, I have a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget. With a strong background in materials management, CNC manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and mechanical design, I excel at identifying and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and drive operational excellence. With my various roles as a project manager, I have a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects from concept to implementation. My experience includes managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, while ensuring quality control and adherence to safety regulations. My technical expertise in CNC manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and automated systems enables me to optimize production processes and enhance quality control measures. I have a deep understanding of mechanical design principles and utilize this knowledge to develop efficient, reliable systems that improve operational performance. My experience in materials management includes inventory control, procurement, and supply chain optimization. I am adept at vendor management and negotiation, and have a proven track record of achieving cost savings while maintaining high levels of quality and service.
