About Ben Longo

My name is Ben Longo. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and I currently attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently interested in working in the business world after I graduate college specifically in Consulting, Finance, Real Estate or the Sports Industry, I love how these industries allow me to utilize my analytical skills and creativity in a fast-paced and dynamic industry with the potential for high financial rewards. At UNC, I am currently serve as a senate chair for the student body government. My job is to network university organizations while also representing the diverse voice of the student body. I am also involved in Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and serve as the alumni chair where I am the middle man between the fraternity and its alumni counsel. I also served an analyst for the Kenan-Flager Investment Banking Deal case competition. There I earned valuation concepts necessary to value M&A deals and also quantitatively proposed revenue/cost benefits for acquisition. Lastly, I am heavily involved in many other organizations like the Undergraduate Marketing Club, Venture Capital Club, Tar Heel Alpha Investment Club, Undergraduate Accounting Club, and UNC Money Think Club Outside of class I enjoy the world of basketball, both watching and playing. I also enjoy football and support the Pittsburgh Steelers. I am heavily involved in volunteer work with a focus surrounding building awareness around mental and physical health. I also love to travel whether locally or across the U.S. while visiting friends and family, I enjoy exploring new areas. Lastly, I spend a lot of time social media marketing where I create and edit videos and reels for various social media platforms
