Background

About Ben Malmborg-Wild

From grant writing to academic research, I have a range of experience that helps nonprofit organizations achieve their missions. I’ve enabled a small nonprofit publication to increase its funding, coordinated programs for over 100 volunteers, and built relationships with community organizations to improve program relevance and outcomes. Some of the skills and strengths I offer include: • Kind, efficient communication: I’ve built trust among teams and leaders to influence change and improve inclusivity. • Project management: I’ve formalized and strengthened development infrastructure, managed donor/member communications, and conducted research to understand and help meet the needs of community partners. Whether researching grant opportunities, writing educational engagement materials, or building relationships to understand and meet critical community needs, I offer the practical skills to help nonprofits succeed. More importantly, I share the values and believe in the missions of organizations working to support refugees and build resilient communities.
