About Ben Moins

I have a passion for sustainability and innovation, and specialize in analyzing and improving the environmental impact and cost-effectiveness of construction materials and processes. With a background in applied engineering – civil engineering, and experience in both academic research and practice-oriented projects, I focus on applying life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) within infrastructure and circular construction. In my role as a postdoctoral researcher and sustainability program manager, I develop and implement innovative tools and methodologies that support companies and public authorities in making sustainable decisions. My work combines technical depth with strategic insight into material reuse, sustainable design, and policy development. By linking technical performance to real-life service life extension and circular principles, I strive for robust, future-oriented, and innovative solutions for the construction sector.
