About Ben Murney

Personal brand, thought leadership, credibility)Director, Modern Workplace & Security | ProServeITI’m a technology and security leader with a career built at ProServeIT, progressing from hands‑on managed services leadership to owning the Modern Workplace & Security practice.Over the years, I’ve worked across the full lifecycle of client environments — from onboarding and stabilization, to modernization, security hardening, and long‑term operational maturity. My background in managed services gives me a practical, real‑world lens: solutions must be secure, scalable, and supportable in production — not just well‑designed on paper.Today, I lead ProServeIT’s Modern Workplace & Security practice, spanning Microsoft 365, endpoint and identity security, governance, and Copilot readiness. I work closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to ensure our offerings are both commercially viable and operationally sound, while serving as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex Microsoft environments.I’m particularly passionate about:Building scalable, repeatable service modelsTranslating complex security and licensing decisions into business outcomesImproving client experience through clarity, structure, and accountabilityDeveloping teams and setting technical standards that scaleI believe strong technology leadership sits at the intersection of people, process, and platform — and that trust is earned through consistency, transparency, and execution.
