About Ben Osmond

Born and raised on a farm outside Lethbridge AB. This is where I learned my work ethic and love of business. As a child I became self employed as I would ride my bike to all the neighboring farms in search for work. Upon starting my accounting degree, I also started a contracting company which put me through school, and allowed me to begin investing in real estate, the markets, and other local businesses, I still own this contracting company today. Upon graduating I accepted a staff accounting job as a CPA student with KPMG LLP. After leaving KPMG, I turned my attention to Wealth Management and began my practice with IG Wealth Management, quickly becoming a top performing consultant in the region as well as the country. We currently have a team of 5 who work together to manage our clients overall wealth, from cash flow, taxes, estate, and retirement planning, to risk and investment management. I have just completed the CFP designation and await my final marks. Other ventures include real estate investing, private lending, exterior contracting, transport and heavy equipment dealership.
