About Ben Palm

I am a dedicated public servant who has an unbridled passion for working with disadvantaged and underprivileged people. I believe in every person's ability to change themselves for the better, so long as they are provided with the skills and environment necessary to foster this change. I am very interested in working with children, especially adolescents. I feel that at such a pivotal time in a person's development, my positive outlook and sensitive approach to complicated issues can make all the difference in enabling young people to make the decisions that are most likely to maximize their chances at a happy and productive life. I am also interested in addressing a wide variety of other populations, including the LGBTQ community, people without homes, people with disabilities, and people of color. My ability to relate to a wide variety of people would make me the perfect fit for understanding and addressing the unique issues each of these communities face.
