About Ben Paul

Ben Paul is a lighting designer based in New Westminster, BC. He also works in theatre and event production, with experience in lighting programming and operating, stage management and technical theatre. Ben thrives on painting the stage with light to create immersive and dynamic experiences. His observant eye for detail, paired with a strong intuition, helps bring his creative visions to life. Ben's colourful portfolio includes designs with Align Entertainment, School's Out Productions, UBC Theatre and United Players of Vancouver. In addition, Ben is a theatre technician for the Massey Theatre Society, the stage manager for the Royal City Youth Ballet's annual tour of "The Nutcracker", and works with Patrick Roberge Productions in a variety of production roles on high profile events, including the "Invictus Games" and "PNE Fair". Ben holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Production from The University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Stagecraft and Event Technology from Douglas College.
