Recent chemistry honours graduate, working as a Science Communicator with Scitech. My primary areas of interest are synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry relating to infectious diseases. My undergraduate degree was very biological chemistry focused with both my third year and honours research projects involving the design, synthesis and biological activity evaluation of medicinal compounds. Naturally, this involved a significant analytical aspect as well. As my volunteering section might suggest, I'm very passionate about community STEM outreach and education.
