As Director of Security and Emergency Management in the electric utility sector, I’m committed to protecting the grid, our workforce, and the communities we serve. With over twenty years of leadership experience, I bring a strategic, cross-disciplinary approach to managing physical security, wildfire mitigation, and emergency preparedness across critical infrastructure. I lead programs that address today’s most pressing challenges—from hardening substations against physical and cyber threats to coordinating multi-agency responses to wildfires, storms, and grid emergencies. My work spans operational readiness, regulatory compliance (including NERC/CIP and fire code standards), and business continuity, ensuring our teams can respond quickly and effectively when every second counts. I’m passionate about building resilient systems and safety-focused cultures. I collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders—including public safety, emergency services, and regulatory bodies—to reduce risk, enhance situational awareness, and maintain public trust in the reliability of our electric service.
