About Ben Pittarelli

My entire working career has been centered on my desire to help. My time with the U.S. Army as an infantry officer helped me begin to focus how I defined service. Whether it was training, teaching or leading soldiers I was responsible for I knew I needed to satisfy my desire to help others. Following my time in the military, I became a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance and began my journey into the insurance industry. I found fulfillment in the ability to help others by making them whole again after auto accidents and catastrophic storms. Combining my passion for the automotive industry with an ability to bring aid to people in need was a great stepping stone into my current role. Twenty three years ago I began my career with ACCG as a marketing representative for health, property, liability and workers' compensation insurance. The role was multi-faceted and allowed me to utilize all of my talents in developing strong business relationships, effectively communicating very technical information to non-insurance professionals and growing the various insurance programs. I excelled at the opportunity to connect with local government officials and staff while helping them save money. Eventually my role evolved to where I am now due to my continued interest in helping those in need especially when medical care was necessary. My in-depth of knowledge of the health insurance industry encompasses the public/government group sector, agency/ broker relations and the impact of medical care costs for inmates. Whether it's being the best father, husband, teacher or coach my purpose remains the same both in my personal and professional life. I have a passionate need to provide service and will always look for a way to help others.
