About Ben Pollock

As Senior Counsel in Shell’s Projects & Technology group, I support the company's major and mega construction projects. In this role, I provide legal advice to advance the execution and delivery of our projects, offering strategic planning and creative solutions for various activities including contract management, management of change, claims analysis, and dispute resolution. Accordingly, I serve as advisor and trusted partner to project leadership teams, placing an emphasis on achieving business goals, maintaining a global perspective, and protecting value. I also play a significant role in training, mentoring, and alignment of practices, including the development and delivery of several key trainings and the continued improvement of model contracts and forms. I previously spent 12 years as a litigator in private practice, and thus bring expertise in complex commercial litigation and arbitration involving construction disputes, as well as significant experience in tort litigation arising from industrial accidents, product liability, and catastrophic events. Prior to practicing as an attorney, I had previous careers as a teacher, actor, and museum professional.
