About Ben Rogerson

I have extensive experience of material and capacity planning concepts and application within ERP systems including shop floor and inventory control. I'm very interested in lean manufacturing concepts and how "level pull" can be acheived with effective IT support. I have guided implementation of kanban replenishment using visual kanban boards and cards with barcodes that are scanned in the ERP system to generate replenishment tasks, e.g. a job. I my current role I have implemented serial number controlled production, transaction based label printing and electronic records for manufacturing activities in fulfilment of GMP principles (MedTech, FDA). Much of my experience has been focused on project management and change management. I have lead cross-functional teams in new product development and delivered new product and process to the market. I also oversaw the move of a sub-contracted chrome plating service from Sweden to Estonia as part of a supply chain improvement program. Specialties: MRP, production, capacity and material planning.
