About Ben Schick

You may think leadership is a natural talent, but for most people it’s a set of skills that have to be learned. I see it all the time…leaders need a certain presence to be effective. They need exceptional skills for navigating complexity. They need to create best practices for themselves and their teams. And they need help to develop each of these areas. I have been coaching leaders through transformation and cultural change for over 20 years. My coaching style is direct, authentic, and pragmatic. I hold up a mirror to my clients to enable them to see their strengths, recognize their blindspots, and clarify their values. Then we build the framework and practices that enable them to learn new skills, develop more resilience under pressure, and act more in alignment with their values. With experience that draws from experiential education, management consulting, somatics, neuroscience, social conditioning, and action-oriented linguistics, I and my network provide solutions that enable leaders and teams to strengthen their presence and accelerate the impact they have. Our ability to design and deliver these programs is honed by our experience that span high tech, healthcare, education, wine & spirits, B-lab, art consulting, retail, and environmental justice organizations. A particular area of focus is coaching men on how to be effective partners with women, generating a culture of gender equity and repairing sexism in the workplace.
