About Ben Silverson

I’m a Computer Games Technology graduate of The University of Portsmouth with a Second Class Upper Division degree. Over the years I've obtained experience with several programming languages such as Python, C++ and C# as well as having experience with current generation game engines, primarily Unity and Unreal Engine 4. During my three years of study at university, my course covered a range of diverse areas with games programming, including gameplay programming, programming AI for games, console programming resolution and mathematical elements for games and animation. As such I have a wealth of knowledge, understanding and skills in many aspects of computer programming. Furthermore, I have a good understanding of coding principles and gameplay design. Following the successful completion of my degree, I wanted to develop my computing skills even further by exploring web development programming and the languages used within this. As such, I sought online courses and independently studied and completed JavaScript and PHP courses. I'm an enthusiastic, highly organised individual who has a strong work ethic and I always look to complete work to a high level and professional standard. I am flexible, self-motivated and work well as part of a team or as an individual. I have both good communication and good problem solving skills.
