About Ben Simons

I am a second year Business Administration student at Sam Houston seeking a career with organizations in the field of wellness, fitness and nutrition. I am fully dedicated to my own fitness and find great reward in helping others achieve their wellness goals. I excel in leadership positions and in collaborative groups to solve problems. Whether in the construction industry or fitness industry, my work experience has taught me to work with a diverse group of talents to meet the customer’s expectations. I have experience leading and working with others to achieve goals on-time without sacrificing quality. I participate and lead extracurricular activities by serving as Social Director of my Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and serving as captain and team member for intramural volleyball, basketball and football intramural sports. I have contributed to my community by fundraising for the Shriners Hospital, volunteering for BearKat Camps, mentoring at-risk students, and helping move elderly and physically disadvantaged persons. My education at SHSU is preparing me to build and manage business success for a variety of organizations. I hope to focus my energy in the wellness, fitness and nutrition industry.
