About Ben Slechten

From 2005 till 2006 I have worked as a Security Systems installer for Trium security. Installing all parts of the security systems, advising on how to properly setup a system and performing maintenance for large companies and private housing. As of September 2006 I have joined PPD. I have performed different functions, all within the logistics department. Different functions: Picking and completing orders. Assembling kits voor pharmaceutical testing. Handling and maintaining stock levels. Working with suppliers to have all stock in on time. Working with national and international suppliers. Quality control of supplies and stock received. Performing inventory counts inhouse as well as other locations. Following up on dry ice orders. Creating invoices for sample and supply shipments. Monitoring inbound and outbound shipments. Creating documents for import and export licenses. Working day to day with clients to have issues and problems resolved. Input on process improvements. Setting up studies and being main person of contact. Working with standard and premium couries for inbound, outbound and study setups. Rerouting of shipments delivered in error. In June 2013 I have taken up the role as logistics coordinator. In general I have to manage the logistical part of a pharmaceutical trial. I make sure that studies are set up on time Import and export licenses are in place Invoice templates are in place Follow up and investigation on logistical issues Attending risk assessment meetings Following up with couriers Managing orders for trials Making sure deadlines are met and clients are provided with feedback with due time
