About Ben Steinhauer

Possesses more than ten years of experience in the biomedical engineering field. Research work history includes positions such as Research Assistant and Biomedical Engineer at Infoscitex (IST), as well as Research Biomedical Engineer, Principal Investigator, and Acting Biodynamics Section Chief at The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Multitude of roles include managing a team of 30+ members, fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and military entities, maintaining the instrumentation and mechanical operations of all impact/vibration systems, injury criteria development, managing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIRs), leading Research Development Testing and Evaluation (RDT & E) programs, writing technical reports and publications, and regularly attending and presenting at conferences. Senior Leaders have always communicated that I am an active team player, have eagerness to learn, have excellent communication skills, handle stress well, and have the ability to adapt in various projects and research efforts over the years.
