About Ben Tan

I have been managing the supply chain for more than 20 years. I have managed projects and accelerated processes in Logistics management, warehouse management, and also transport management to overcome many operations constrain and meet company goals. Some projects I have accomplished such as optimizing the routing and rescheduling/prioritizing containers, parts picking by kit, re-layout warehouse operation flow, and also purchasing strategy just to name a few. Aside I also have vast experience in manufacturing, retailing and, also distributing FMCG products. I have also played many roles from QC, Customer Service, Inventory Control, Procurement, Production Scheduling/Planning, Product Costing, Warehousing, Logistics & Distribution, and Security. Over the year I have self-learning to keep up my skills to support requirements from the company. Such as simple drafting skills using Autocad, SketchUp, and also programming to solve customization issues with the programmer. I am the type of person who likes to learn and doesn’t mind getting my hands dirty. My intention is to serve the customer first and get the job done. I am also an ambitious person who likes to achieve many goals. I always look at results as a measurement of my achievement. In the current unpredictable market. I am ready. I have equipped myself with not just education qualification as my foundation but also the operations know-how that I have gained thru working experience. I am a hardworking person, pleasant to work with, and need less supervision. I can work independently and as a team player. I am result-oriented, planning and tracking projects on schedule. Seeking ways to improve is my rule of thumb to succeed in my career.
