As a Software Engineer at team.blue, I work on both legacy and modern systems across the company's UK server brands, specialising in Ruby on Rails and Python. With a passion for problem-solving and building reliable solutions, I help maintain and develop critical infrastructure for cloud hosting services, ensuring both stability and innovation. Prior to this role, I gained hands-on experience as a Technical Analyst at catalyst2, where I provided first and second-line support for a wide range of web hosting products. I was part of a team delivering award-winning customer service, assisting clients across multiple channels, and performing server maintenance and upkeep. In addition to my technical roles, I have a strong background in community service, having volunteered for the Sawtry Youth Project. Over nearly eight years, I helped advance the project's aims, including securing funding and permission for a local skatepark, managing the project's online presence, and engaging in community outreach. My journey has also included retail sales experience at Tesco Mobile, where I was recognised for consistently high customer satisfaction scores and routinely meeting sales targets. I'm passionate about using my skills to make technology more accessible, scalable, and customer-focused.
