About Ben Traverso

I am currently working at Epic Systems as a Project Manager on the Claims and Remittance team, helping organizations across the US improve their revenue outcomes and denial rates via implementation of Epic. During my job, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse organizations from across the healthcare landscape, including small, medium, and large projects. I have had the opportunity to shepherd four organizations through go-lives of the Epic system, effectively triaging issues, mitigating concerns, and pushing the system to meet operational needs. As a Claims and Remittance Project Manager, I act as a primary liaison between operational requests and technical build, bridging the gap between the two and providing needed clarity to move the project forward. My job requires times where I spend concerted effort building complex pieces of build to fit operational needs, ensuring that the system is meeting their expectations. My work with customers has led directly to marked improvements in YoY revenue, with most customers seeing at least a 30% increase in revenue by six months after go-live.
