About Ben Tyson

I am a Site Manager at PBG with a solid foundation in carpentry and over a decade of hands-on experience delivering high-quality construction projects. Starting out as a carpenter, I’ve built my career from the ground up, leading teams and managing works on major infrastructure projects for Sydney Water and Water NSW before progressing into site management.I began my career in the residential carpentry sector, where I developed a strong understanding of structure, finish, and the importance of detail. This early experience laid the groundwork for a deeper appreciation of how construction programs and sequences impact the overall success of a build. Over time, I’ve continued to develop my skills in scheduling and planning, with a strong focus on aligning trades and timelines to ensure smooth project delivery. At PBG, I’ve overseen the delivery of multiple aged care and multi-residential developments ranging from $2 million to $20 million, with a strong focus on safety, detail, and stakeholder coordination. Currently, I’m managing the upgrade and expansion of Bomaderry High School, an important project that supports the growth of public education in the region through the addition of extra learning spaces.I am passionate about building strong teams, fostering a culture of accountability and pride on-site, and ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard in safety and quality.I’m always open to connecting with others in the construction industry who value leadership, craftsmanship, and results.
