About Ben Vernon

I am currently studying Business Management with a pathway in Marketing at the University of Derby. Outside of being a student I also work within business development and consultancy, most recently being appointed as development coordinator for Vault Digital Ltd. In the past, I have been able to stretch myself within the workplace and have led projects such as developing websites for multiple companies alongside website developers at GetyouOnline. Furthermore, I have developed social media marketing campaigns on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Going forward into the end of 2022 and 2023 I would also like to help Practical Solutions Midlands Ltd, once again, to achieve a Net Zero emissions for all the travel and logistics by the company and employees. Outside of University and Business Consultancy, I am also a swimming teacher at Repton Sports Centre, swimming and other sports are held close to my heart. I enjoy teaching people of all ages and see great satisfaction when my pupils do well. Alongside my studies at the University of Derby I am currently the Treasurer for the Men’s Rugby Club, during my time within this role I have spoken to many companies and raised over £2,500 in sponsorships for the club as well as managing all club accounts.
