About Ben Whiteman

I am a practiced systems-thinker whose formal education on sustainability began in engineering school and continues to mature through a focus on lifelong learning and a passion for architecting more circular, more sustainable, and more equitable systems at both local and global scales. Growth-oriented and purpose-driven, I aim to participate actively in redesigning the world toward a future that has no concept of waste. In my role within GE Vernova's Electrification Software team, my work helps to create bridges between industrial sustainability challenges and digital manufacturing capabilities. Having managed, analyzed, and optimized manufacturing processes in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods industries, I strive to bring a grounded approach to manufacturing innovation. Away from work, you'll find me filling my cup along trails and around campfires across the American Southwest, connecting deeply with friends and family, and practicing mindfulness.
