About Ben Wilkinson

Since graduating from the University of Gloucestershire in 2015, I have had the pleasure of working at Rush Skatepark C.I.C, taking on various roles including Media Manger, Events Manager, Head Coach and Team Manager to name but a few of my varied job titles. Each of these roles had their own challenges to overcome and the experience of dealing with each of these has provided me a well-rounded skill set that allows me to rise to challenges and adapt to projects of all kinds. Rush Skatepark has recently closed its doors due to the site being redeveloped. Since then I have taken roles as a freelance video editor / animator, using my skills in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects to create engaging content, taking projects from brief through completion. I am also currently an active director of Fleet Action Sports Limited, an action sports company through which I have worked to bring products from the conceptual stage to market. Because of this, I have an understanding of both the manufacture and logistics processes that are involved. Away from work, I am also a keen stunt scooter rider, having been active within the sport for around 13 years. Putting this experience to good use I now run ScootGB (Scoot Sport C.I.C), a grass-roots competition series that aims to grow the sport and push awareness to the eyes that need to see it! I am currently working full time for Momentum Mobility UK Limited as their Business Developer for the UK.
