I am currently working on the Systems Engineering Team at Abbott Point of Care, focused on bringing our Point of Care Testing products to market. I focus on adherence to Design Control through the entire lifecycle of the Medical Device as well as design verification, design validation, and system design. I completed a dual Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (B.A.Sc) and Biochemistry (B.Sc) at the University of Ottawa and I am currently completing an MBA from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. I have field/laboratory research experience from soil physics (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada) to molecular biology and all the way to biomedical engineering (Assisted a PhD Student at the University of Ottawa). I also had the opportunity to work for 8 months as a Process Engineer at Ingredion Canada, where I learned a lot about how a food manufacturing facility operates through many interesting projects.
