As a passionate traveller it’s been an honour to build a 20+ year career in travel. After 10 years based in Asia I’ve established a diverse network of personal & professional contacts, complimenting my already extensive global connection network, built from my time based in the UK. Gaining immense experience in many markets and economic climates, whilst always delivering results has continually enhanced my reputation for growth & success. I could be considered a commercial chameleon, highly adaptable, capable of engaging quickly and effectively, with integrity, across the wide range of cultures and professionals we find in the inspiringly diverse Asia Pacific Region. This natural ability and commitment to swiftly building personal & professional relationships has always proved profitable and rewarding for the businesses I’ve represented. Aligned with my life values, I believe honest, open and empathetic communication allows winning partnerships to be built and ongoing business relationships developed. The biggest pressure placed upon me is by myself as I continuously strive for self-improvement, utilising Kaizen, in all aspects of my Life. In addition:• I have a long history and reputation of delivering new business and optimising results of existing Clients, leveraging from long term loyalty & commitment to a project. • I thrive on leading & building successful multi-cultural regional teams to exceed growth targets, whilst coaching & developing people to enhance their contribution. • The Travel Technology arena has been a fantastic experience and enhancement to my business skillset. It’s been thrilling to secure a diverse range of profitable new Clients across Asia for Juniper Travel Technology.• Being present at the forefront of the online distribution explosion of accommodation since its inception is a unique bonus. I proudly supported the launch of Hotelbeds into the UK and other European Markets. • This unique opportunity & timing to grow with the online accommodation distribution allowed me to then quickly establish myself in Asia, representing key brands Jac Travel, Total Stay and subsequently WebBeds. The Asian sales teams I led consistently outgrew markets, leading to large double digit, profitable growth and ultimately record sales. • The latter roles enabled me to nurture the full commercial spectrum of online accommodation product strategy & client distribution, both at a strategic level and with hands on direct representation out in the field.• I was proud to obtain a Degree in Business & Quality Management from the UK
