About Ben Wrighton

I build websites that are standards compliant, semantic, preformant and responsive. I have over 10 years of industry experience including educational and experiential multimedia (TUANZ innovation awards finalist), NZ government (e-govt compliant) websites and most recently building recruitment communications sites in London for large businesses including Barclays Bank, IHG and AON. I recently returned to New Zealand with my wife and 3 young children. Primarily I am; Proficient in HTML, CSS (Sass) and JavaScript (Jquery). With a working knowledge of PHP, Drupal (Theming), Silverstripe and Photoshop. And conversant in SEO, User Experience, Accessibility, Google analytics. I also have experience in the following; Sublime, Webmin, Source control (Sun & Git), IIS, PHPmyAdmin, Xampp, mySQL, CSS3, HTML5, Acquia. Mobile First, Progressive Enhancement. I am happy to get up to speed with any technologies you require that I do not yet know outside of work hours. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am a fast learner and a team player.
