I am a passionate Nursing Informatics Coordinator at Pennsylvania Hospital, where I’ve been driving innovative solutions in healthcare since 2019. With a Master’s in Nursing Informatics, ANCC nursing informatics certification, and Epic Clinical Informaticist certification, I am dedicated to enhancing patient care through technology.My nursing as well as healthcare IT experience is where I support Women's Health, including Labor and Delivery, Intensive Care Nursery, and Mother/Baby, ensuring that clinical workflows are efficient and safe. My focus on integration and interoperability has led to successful implementations like the Alaris Interoperability project, enabling seamless communication between BD IV pumps and Epic, and the Angel Eyes Milk Tracker for improved infant nutrition management.I am particularly proud of my contributions to projects aimed at safeguarding patient data and enhancing clinical practices, such as the BCA Downtime system, which prepares our teams for unscheduled outages due to cyber threats. I also play a key role in improving patient safety through initiatives like hospital wristband scanning to prevent medication errors and the Welch Allen integration for automated vital signs documentation. As a credentialed educator, I am committed to empowering new nursing staff by teaching them Epic - Stork, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
