About Benedict Hodge

I’m ben and I’m managing the Age Cymru dementia advocacy project. We’re an all Wales project, making sure that anybody living with memory concerns or a diagnosis of dementia in Wales has access to high quality independent advocacy. Our dementia advocacy is non-statutory, this means that we can work on any issue for people living with dementia or memory concerns, at any point in their life. We’re not restricted to care or hospital settings. We’re simply committed to making sure that people living with memory concerns and dementia have their voices heard and feel in control of their lives. Our dementia advocates can support people at a community level, working on their housing or consumer issues, right the way through their journey through the care system, supporting them to access the right care at the right time.
