About Benedict Reinardy
I am a glacial geologist with a focus on glacial sedimentology and environmental reconstruction using multiple proxies where combined geophysics, sedimentology, geomorphology and geochronology are beneficial. I am particularly interested in subglacial and ice marginal depositional environments and processes and the impacts these have on ice sheet dynamics over a range of geological timescales. My key strength as an academic is my broad research profile which enables me to have a far more holistic approach on topics and research questions related to environmental and global change that have direct societal relevance. I have extensive experience working with universities, research institutes and industry partners to successfully obtain small, medium and large-scale research and educational grants both in Sweden and internationally.
