About Benedict Wong

Applied Machine Learning Researcher and Data Scientist specializing in scalable ML systems, large-scale data engineering, and predictive modeling. I work across supervised, self-supervised, and multimodal learning pipelines, with experience deploying models on AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure. My background spans time series forecasting, transformers, gradient boosting, NLP, and behavioral modeling on datasets ranging from 1M to 170M+ records. I’ve built enterprise forecasting models, adversarial ML simulations, multimodal sentiment systems, and large-scale ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, PyTorch, scikit-learn, FAISS, DuckDB, and Polars. AWS Certified (ML Engineer, Data Engineer) with hands-on experience in SageMaker GPU workloads, Databricks, distributed preprocessing, and cloud-native ML deployment. Strong foundation in statistics, stochastic modeling, optimization, and experimental design. Interested in full-time roles in Machine Learning Engineering, Applied AI, Quantitative Data Science, and Scalable ML Infrastructure. If this sounds interesting to you, please reach me at wongbe04242004@gmail.com
