About Benjamin Allen

As a Health Exercise & Physiology major on the Pre-PT/PA track at Ursinus College, I am passionate about movement, recovery, and helping others return to the life they love, stronger than before. With a hands-on experience in both clinical and research settings, I bring a well-rounded and people-focused approach to healthcare. Currently, I serve as a Physical Therapist Aide at Advance Aquatic & Physical Therapy, where I support patients through orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation. From balance and gait training to executing Epley maneuvers for BPPV, I have developed a strong understanding of how to pair effective cueing with patient-centered care. I also work as a Research Lab Assistant, where I use diagnostic tools to study exercise responses and contribute to active research, blending clinical practice with scientific insight. Outside the lab and clinic, I have grown as a communicator and leader. I resolve conflict and support students as a Resident Advisor, and I led my high school wrestling team as captain. My own injury experience taught me empathy and resilience, shaping my desire to help others through their healing journey.
