About Benjamin Alvarez

Growing up I always tried to involve myself in anything that had to do with music, audio or noise. I was first introduced to professional music production around age 18. From what I picked up over time I started collecting production gear such as Synthesizers, Sequencers, controllers, and an MPC. The reason I chose a career in the audio industry was not just because I wanted a career I would love but because I feel as if it is my life purpose. It is something I see myself enjoying for the rest of my life. Even as an infant, I have always had a great fascination for sound in many areas. Ask me about that one day. I believe if you do something you love you will never have to work a day in your life. Working with audio is where I see myself making a difference in the world through expression. Whether it’s with my music or someone else's, I just want to be involved and grow with different cultures of music. I've had countless people tell me to just keep it as a hobby and find a real career. But honestly can't see myself doing anything else. I once heard a saying that has stuck with me for many years and it helps me find my way every time:"Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way."-Allen Watts. I've had other interests in my life but never had one with a greater feeling when working with audio. It will always be my passion, and my life.
