About Benjamin-Andreas Berk
Giving veterinary medicine a new direction- Beeing specialized in Veterinary Neurology and Nutrition, I hope to complete my past microscopic scientific education in neurosciences with the macroscopic application orientated part in medicine in the new field of neurodietetics. Presently, I will complete soon a Ph.D degree in Veterinary Neurology focussing on nutritional management in canine epilepsy and its behavioural comorbidities at the Royal Veterinary College in London, hopefully followed by the residency completion in Veterinary Neurology/ Small Animal Nutrition in 2022. Since 2019, I am also leading my own private practise BrainCheck.Pet specialising in epilepsy and other paroxysmal disorders in cats and dog. Beside normal consultation, we work teleneurologically with the local vet, do contract research, educating future vets, design products and work on the area of veterinary medicine informatics.
