With over 20 years of experience in the architecture industry, I am a passionate and creative Architectural Department Manager at Burns & McDonnell, a leading engineering, architecture, and construction firm. My core competencies include design charrettes, BIM, and 3D visualization, as well as project management, proposal development, staff management, and quality control. My mission is to provide innovative and sustainable architectural solutions that meet the needs and expectations of diverse clients across various sectors, such as government, aviation, utility, and food and consumer products. I value collaboration, excellence, and employee ownership, and I bring a diverse perspective and experience to the team, having worked on projects in different regions and markets as well as different construction delivery methods such as design-bid-build, design-build, and EPC.As the Architectural Department Manager for the Morristown, NJ office, I am responsible for developing weekly workload forecasting, leading and coordinating design efforts, and ensuring client satisfaction and project quality. I have successfully designed and delivered several projects for key clients, such as the US National Guard Bureau, US Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, National Grid, Eversource, Frito-Lay, and Cargill, among others. I use my skills in Bluebeam, Revit, and SketchUp to create and communicate design concepts, as well as to facilitate team coordination and employee development.
