About Benjamin Bartmann

I am a passionate medical engineer and currently work as a Clinical Specialist for transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve therapies at Edwards Lifesciences. My core responsibility is to serve as the interface between customer and product during highly complex medical procedures, ensuring technical success and achieving optimal outcomes for the benefit of the patient. This requires my solid cardiovascular expertise and many years of experience in echocardiographic and fluoroscopic imaging. In addition, I am responsible for delivering professional training to our customers, medical staff, and internal sales team. Building strong, trust-based customer relationships, working closely with the sales team, and implementing marketing and sales strategies are part of my daily work. Through various projects and close collaboration with the procedural development team, I also play a key role in optimizing internal processes. During my previous role as an Implantation Specialist in the E-xtra Design Engineering Team at Artivion, I was able to acquire and deepen essential skills. In collaboration with physicians I developed individualized, patient-specific solutions for the endovascular treatment of various vascular diseases. My daily work included the entire process from planning the customized vascular prosthesis, overseeing its technical implementation and manufacturing, to providing international implantation support after production.
