About Benjamin Bartnik
I am an Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Alabama. Outside of the classroom, I am in the Alabama Rocketry Association (ARA) and have worked in the Space Propulsion and Testing (SPOT) lab on campus. In ARA I am the chief engineer of the liquid propulsion team. The team’s current goal is to build, test, and launch UA’s first liquid rocket to an altitude of feet. The SPOT lab tests various experiments related to Hall effect thrusters. As a research assistant in the SPOT lab I helped graduate students reduce data noise and increase operational efficiency of their test stands.
