Machining: Routinely program, set up, and operate HAAS/Mazak/Prototrak vertical mills, Prototrak CNC lathes, and general manual 2-axis lathes and milling machines. Ability to machine specialty fixtures and soft jaws for holding complex parts. Experienced in setting up an assortment of milling and turning tools specific to each job. Able to locate/order an array of material for prototype and production work as well as cut and ready stock for machine operation. Solid modeling: Cam Works certified programmer with the ability to draw and dimension 3D solid models using Solid Works, as well as create programs with the solid model. Blueprint reading: Proficient in GD & T, and solid model interpretation with the ability to identify and hold extreme tolerances. Inspection: Ability to perform 100 percent inspection on all parts with extreme attention to detail and tolerances, as well as filling out inspection reports. Experienced with vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM machine, and Altissimo electronic height gauge. Finish work: Experienced in all bench work included but not limited to deburring, orbital sanding, sandblasting, cleaning and drying. Shipping/Receiving: Ability to bag and tag parts, ship, receive, and track inventory.
