About Benjamin Blue

With over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse and a neonatology nurse practitioner, I am passionate about providing high-quality and compassionate care to newborns and their families. Currently, I work at Children's Medical Center, where I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and social workers to deliver evidence-based and family-centered care to critically ill neonates. I have a master's degree in nurse practitioner neonatal and a Daisy Award for extraordinary nursing care. I have also been involved in clinical research and quality improvement projects to enhance neonatal outcomes and practices. Some of my core competencies include communication, leadership, and relationship building, which enable me to establish trust and rapport with patients, families, and colleagues, and to advocate for the best interests of the neonates. I am committed to advancing my knowledge and skills in the field of neonatology, and to contributing to the mission and vision of Children's Medical Center.
