I am a procurement/ purchasing professional and technical specialist with +20 years of experience within the automotive sector (PACCAR Inc./ DAF Trucks N.V.) and recently (2020) started within the semiconductor/ photolithography industry (ASML Holding N.V.). My position today is: Senior Account Lead (Procurement Manager) Temperature Control with a total of +15 years of experience in Strategic Procurement. I'm responsible for leading three Supplier Account Teams (4/ 5 professionals per SAT team) which are managing the QLTCS (Quality - Logistic - Technology - Cost - Sustainability) impact (via KPIs) on Purchased Goods (mainly water- and air cabinets to control the temperature stability in ASML's lithography systems). On day to day basis we work closely together with the Development & Engineering, Logistic, Re-use, Quality and Financial departments and personally I guide and have the support from several tactical buyers and analytical persons within the Procurement department. I am a committed, dedicated and driven professional with strong analytical, communicative and (project) managerial skills and a strong sense for negotiation. During my career at PACCAR Inc./ DAF Trucks N.V, and more recently ASML, I have been working within various technical, R&D and procurement roles. This has provided me with a deep understanding of the development, production and procurement processes and has given me strong feeling for cooperation with both higher and lower positioned persons. My track record During my 15 years within strategic procurement I have achieved various goals like: • Leading several Supplier Account Teams (4/ 5 persons per SAT team) on QLTCS aspect with excellent result on KPIs (e.g: Cost of Goods, optimization of Leadtime, Quality Performances, New Product Implementation); • Commercially responsible for several (technical) commodities (with a total spend up to 100 Mio Euro p/y) on QLTCS aspect with excellent results (e.g: reduced spend, TCO improvements, improve of quality, logistical challenges, conducting Improvement Plans, onboarding new suppliers & Six Sigma projects); • Leading multiple (CAPEX) projects per year (with a total spend up to 80 Mio Euro per order) with excellent results (reduced spend, improve of quality, BCC content, integrated saving & Six Sigma projects); • Refocus of several commodities resulting in a more synoptic commodity and product overview with less suppliers and a better feasible supply chain resulting in up to 30% lower overall costs.
