About Benjamin Burns

Served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps from 2011 - 2015 with the 3rd Light Armored Recon Battalion in Twentynine Palms, California. Interested in emerging technology industries and business, Navix Drones was founded in early 2015 to bring aerial photography and videography, data collection, and other services to the Midwest region. Aerial Photography opened the door to the world of real estate in 2017 and formed a real estate team, Modern Home Team, in 2018. both ventures have allowed me to develop skills and expertise in creating operational processes and systems, developing marketing and sales campaigns, and understanding the financial aspects of small businesses. Graduated from the University of St. Thomas for a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneur and Small Business Operations in 2020. Elected President of the St. Thomas Veterans Association and the St. Thomas Chapter for the Student Veterans of America. Previously served as a board member of townhome association. I believe that my past experiences have allowed myself to develop strong communication skills, work ethic, decisiveness, problem solving abilities, leadership (both with or without authority), and the ability to thrive when given unfamiliar environments. In my free time, I enjoy spending with my family, watching sports, and continuing to grow and develop professionally and personally.
