I've spent fifteen years as a founding and early-stage engineer, building products from first commit to scale across SaaS, healthcare, and consumer tech. One of those products became infrastructure for major automotive brands after a $220M acquisition by Cox Automotive. I also hold a U.S. patent for a payment rerouting system I helped design.Today I'm Director of Engineering at Revelation Pharma, where I was brought in to build engineering from the ground up. The company had IT but no engineering organization. My mandate is to help transform a compounding pharmaceutical company into a technology-driven one. I've been building that muscle from scratch: hiring key technical roles, establishing strategic consultancy partnerships, defining the engineering roadmap, and serving as the technology advisor to leadership across departments.Before that, I was the first engineering hire at FlowPath (facilities management SaaS), where I built out the product and engineering foundation, including the brand identity and logo that's still in use today. At Terminus, I scaled the design system and component libraries from $15M to $50M ARR through three acquisitions. At Kenzie Lane Innovation, I was founding engineer across three startups in succession, including DriveClutch.I think about product and engineering as the same problem. Architecture decisions are product decisions. Team structure is a product decision.
