About Benjamin Chase

Former Division 3 All-American basketball player and current coach with over 12 years experience atthe D1 and D3 levels. Developing practitioner of the first principles-based, completely unscripted offense in college basketball history. Committed to holistic, total person development through sport. I am a skilled coach and recruiter with over ten years experience at the Division 1 NCAA level. Most recently I served as recruiting coordinator for the Army Women's Basketball team for the last 3 years. At Army I organized, managed and executed a nationwide recruiting effort at one of the most selective institutions in the country. I have management experience working with diverse groups of people from our student-athletes, to our coaching staff, to other teams in the athletic department, and even cross-department teams at the Academy. On the court I implemented a modern principles-based offense and coordinating practice framework - the first of it's kind in college basketball. Being on the cutting edge creates unique challenges, and I gained so much valuable experience continually working through the problem-solving process. My experience as a college coach has allowed me to develop a unique perspective and skillset that will translate to any management setting. Motivating, implementing accountability systems and developing/leading cohesive teams are my biggest strengths. I would love to continue coaching and leading in an athletic setting, but I am open to any and all opportunities that would be a fit for my skillset.
