I am a Vibroacoustic Engineer. I have nearly a decade experience working vibration and crew noise for the Orion space craft, NASA's next human spacecraft. At Lockheed Martin, I took analyzed extensive flight test data to create comprehensive forcing functions that were applied to our full-vehicle models. I used these models to create vibration environments for components all across the vehicle, and I ensured these components were properly tested. I also worked crew noise to ensure that the astronauts environment is not too noisy. Before working on Orion, I completed my Masters Degree from Brigham Young University in August 2014. There, I organized and led full scale acoustic measurements of a GEM-60 rocket and an F-35. My primary focus has been on signal processing techniques in acoustics.
